Our bid planning experience includes key roles on high-profile projects such as HS2 Birmingham Curzon Street Station (NEC Option C) and HS2 Euston Station (NEC Option F), where we supported the successful Mace/Dragados bids. Responsibilities included compiling detailed Stage 1 and 2 programmes, engaging closely with technical teams, subcontractors, designers, and stakeholders to build logic-driven schedules that accounted for constructability, logistics, enabling works, and modern methods of construction. We also provided high-quality phasing diagrams and incorporated supplier programmes where appropriate, structuring everything in accordance with NEC scheduling principles. Our work on the programme question received high commendation for clarity and innovation.

Additionally, we represented Movar in supporting BCM Construction on competitive bids for the Lyminster Bypass bridges, developing P6 programmes, phasing and logistics sketches. Across all bids, our approach is grounded in collaboration, technical rigour, and a commitment to producing planning outputs that enhance tender quality and increase the likelihood of success.

Planning Permission Support

At N.O.V8 Consulting Limited, we provide specialist support for planning submissions and environmental statements on major residential developments. Our expertise includes construction logistics, buildability, phasing, and programme advice tailored to meet planning requirements and inform the design and consultation process. We’ve supported a range of large-scale projects, including Clapham Park (2,550 homes), Bermondsey (1,200 homes), Woolwich (931 homes), and Winstanley & York Road (2,500 homes), and recently West Kentish Town Estate (705 homes). Our services have included preparing detailed constructability and phasing reports, contributing to the buildability chapter of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), and compiling Outline Construction Management Plans (CMPs) and Outline Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs).
